Stacey's side of the story:
We met at Kinko's 2 years ago. I remember first that his grandfather Allen had come in to find out if we were hiring so he could help find his grandson a job.
The next thing I remember is Rob strutting his stuff through the doors. I wasn't the one who interviewed him but I told my boss that we "really need to hire that guy." LOL!
After a few weeks I asked Rob to come to Reno to play a game or two of laser tag. We spent the entire day in Reno on the longest date ever!! But it was lots of fun.
We dated for about 1 year before he asked me to marry him. I had gone out of town for my birthday to New Mexico. When I came back, we went out for diner. When we got home, he lit a few candles and asked me to marry him.
The rest you know.
Rob's side of the story:
I sheepishly entered Kinko's. I was nervous because it could potentially be my first job. I spotted Stacey talking to another girl out of the corner of my eye. I didn't get a chance to talk to her until after I'd been hired.
The first time I really got to talk to Stacey was when I was stuck out in the retail area. I was having problems with the copier. I went to the production operator, who just so happened to be talking to Stacey at the time. I blurted out (like a total idiot) "my tray won't lift."
After suffering a slight case of embarrasment, Stacey started talking to me. She was the one who asked me out to a game of laser tag.
Six months after we began dating, I knew that she was "the one." It took me another four months to build up enough courage to ask her to marry me.
I didn't plan the proposal before I asked. There were a lot of butterflies! I didn't have the ring but I took her out to dinner and we went home to watch movies and relax. I lit a few candles and just knew that it was the right moment.
